It's like being excited to read about the next song from 2020...and then realizing I have to wait another week.😉
Obviously I missed that part of Scott's column. I understand, but I am now officially worried that I may not live long enough to see you catch up to the present day...

It was similar for me: my nomination picks were mostly not nominated, and my picks to win mostly didn't win. I imagine that's the experience for most voters in a plurality-based system.
I'm also glad they got rid of the nominating committees, though I understand why they were formed in the 1st place

I remember when this was all over the radio, though not the BTS version. I was probably tired of it, but these days I'd gladly hear it instead of Beautiful Things for the eighth time today—or Die With A Smile, or A Bar Song, etc.
(Not Espresso, though. I'm still not tired of that.☕)

I'm not surprised they took this step, but it annoyed me how many people viewed this as a problem with either Billboard or Teddy Swims, instead of our own streaming/listening habits.
Ironically, BB hopes to lessen the accusations that they're "rigging" things by giving us a more artificial chart🤷‍♂️

For me, Dynamite is a 10 the same way Sugar, Sugar and Dancing Queen are 10s: just way too fun to ignore! (ABBA was the original English word salad band.)
The rest I can set aside for later, but I'm glad the Army seems not to have found this platform yet.

Maybe the lower voice? Somehow, TS seemed more..."grown up" after this song, like when Madonna spoke at the end of Crazy For You

I can't fully blame the Scotts that I don't know how this song goes. I looked up the #1 song at Pop Airplay the same week—Camila Cabello's "My Oh My"—and couldn't remember how it went until I played it just now. Perhaps I made myself forget a lot about those months...
