โThe Final Elementโ Most beings spawned from the Second Pandora are malicious, or at least dangerous. This simple creature is not. The product of a foolโs attempt to achieve immortality left what is believed to be one of the manโs household plants as a small, gelatinous blob ofโฆ something. While plants are, in fact, alive, they arenโt sentient, and the resulting Final Element is nothing more than a bouncing ball that craves close physical contact and attention. While it is simple-minded and entirely passive, it will never meet a grizzly fate at the hands of a predator. The man who created it did succeed in achieving immortality, just not for himself. The Final Element is completely impervious to all danger, the passage of time, or even the heat death of the universe. It is named as such because it will inevitably be the last thing to exist for eternity, someday. All it does is smile brainlessly and seek affection. Attempting to isolate any part of its body for testing results in the detached gelatin dissolving and reappearing back on the Final Element. All things considered, it has seen therapeutic uses, just as any therapy animal would. It is incredibly difficult to contain, as it can very easily slip out of anything and is predisposed to wander the world aimlessly. We have many questions about how such an immortal being was created, but it seems we may never answer any of them due to the nature of the being who ended up immortalโฆ quite a cruel joke. Itโs kind of cute, at least.

โThe Crawling Chaos of the Depthsโ Found in immense labyrinths and caverns, this gigantic spider-like creature of gem and rock rapidly skitters through underground areas. It is believed to be one of the fastest beings alive on Earth, and can catch up to prey kilometres away in under a minute. When hunting down unlucky spelunkers, its gems glow bright and seem to illuminate a path that the Crawling Chaos traverses through at incomprehensible speeds. It acts as the guardian of many subterranean locations, many of which store precious artefacts. It is believed that long ago, they were trained by ancient peoples to guard their most valuable possessions. However, there is not much reason for them to continue to hunt, as these underground ruins have long been pilfered. The only way to escape a Crawling Chaos is to outsmart it, as its speed makes running a certain death. Hiding, tricking, and trapping are your main options, although it is not easy, as the Crawling Chaos displays high intelligence and will use those same tactics to catch you. It can easily camouflage into cavern walls and often leaves entrapping webs around. While fighting is not a recommended option, as it can trample you before you even have the chance to take a stand, organized efforts to kill a Crawling Chaos have revealed interesting details. Its crystalline body is Second Pandora in origin, and it takes great care to keep those gems polished. Combined with neurological scans on its brain, we are led to believe it is quite sapientโฆ which makes one wonder if it hunts for a more calculated purpose than protecting territory.

โThe Abandoned Deityโ Deep in the depths of the Atlantic ocean, the ruins of an immense underwater city were found. The area is nigh unexplorable due to the unnatural water currents and pressure, not to mention pockets of acidic liquid trapped inside buildings that can corrode metal in seconds. From what weโve been able to observe, however, every inhabitant of this civilization once worshipped an oceanic god, but disappeared. And within an ancient temple at the center of the city, built deep into the Earthโs crust, resides the object of their worshipโฆ chained up and restrained. This Abandoned Deity can control time, and we believe that due to some sort of disaster many years ago, the god lashed out and accelerated time in the city so far that every citizen decomposed and every building crumbled in an instant. Within the chamber it is trapped in, the linear flow of time is warped, causing those who enter to leave younger than they were before. The Abandoned Deity is constantly struggling against its restraints, stuck immortal in this one spot. Glyphs throughout the chamber seem to indicate that should the chains be broken, the Abandoned Deity, in its lonely grief, shall raise the city out of the ocean, sit atop its highest tower, and wreak temporal havoc on the world. Every day, the chains get a bit more strained, and the Abandoned Deity nears freedom. It will happen eventually, it will be catastrophic, and as of now we know of no way to stop it. We can only hope that the world can survive when the clock reaches its end.

โThe Eternal Lighthouseโ The subject of many a sailorโs legend, this mystical being is to this day an uncertainty, as none have ever lived to truly prove its existence. Taking the form of a lighthouse cutting through the oceanโs night, it leads those at sea into a dense fog, never to be seen againโฆ or at least, thatโs what they say. The area of the Atlantic that it is said to reside in has been the subject of thousands of disappearances, with only traces of the victims being left behind. Due to its unconfirmed nature, nothing is known about the fate that those it lures meet. The legends have many varying interpretations, from the benevolence of leading people to the afterlife when it is their time, to a mass dream hallucination that brings sailors to their doom. All that the legends can agree on is its apparitions as a beacon of light that coaxes sea vessels towards it. As previously alluded to, the disappearances leave behind a slight trace, our sole confirmation that something lies out there. While the boats are never found, the clothes of the victims return to shore in unmarked cases, neatly folded and cleaned as if they were brand new. Whether intended to be a threat or a sign of goodwill, we are unsure. Unfortunately, as we know so little about the Eternal Lighthouseโs nature, we cannot offer much in the way of warnings other than to avoid sailing through large swaths of the Atlantic ocean where the associated disappearances are estimated to have occurred.

On the first day, our leader returned, much to the delight of his young daughter. Yet there was no cause for celebration, as clocks ticked like ants marching to their demise. Many doubted any knowledge could save us, but the things within that book our leader had returned with were our only hope. We could only prepare, guard our families, and invoke the name of our dead God in hopes that somehow, it was still watching over us.

On the second day, we were wrought with decay. Survival odds worsened, and tensions rose high between supposed allies. Betrayal was rife, and every second towards the eventual end drove each pitiable soul even more mad. Yet some held strong, despite she who acted beyond our understanding encroaching further every moment. She held heads in vice grips and strung intestines through the trees.

On the third day, we were witness to the end of all things as we knew them. Try as we might to defy, she who stood above God drove her nails into our chests one by one, deftly picking apart the bone to reach the heart. We threw ourselves to the slaughter, yet hoping for some sort of opportunity to arise, but none came. Our leader, faith wavering, declared one final stand, but it was too late as the ground was razed.

On the fourth day, we held our dead siblings in our arms and gazed up to the unfeeling heavens. And she who regarded us with such contempt, she drove a stake into the heart of Earth that spilled forth a miasma that choked the air from our lungs. It was then, the young daughter with her plush bear held close, threw herself into the fissure, and to all at once a mighty vertigo strangled our minds. It was then, she who regarded us with such contempt, screamed as if torn limb from limb, vanishing from sight. And then a father mourned his child.
