The 2026 Open Hardware Summit is coming.... to Berlin, Germany! On May 22nd and 23rd!! Still so much news to come here but we wanted to be sure you knew! For now you can enjoy the beautiful logo designed by @bleeptrack@vis.social and check out the site at 2026.oshwa.org

Second to last dimensions check for the #WHY #Badge Cover. Fusion file and STL will be made available soon, a slightly earlier version is available at gitlab.com/Dynom/hardwa...
Also checkout the model of @davedarko.bsky.social at www.printables.com/model/136919...
Only 7 days until #why2025!
So I've published my model now as well. I'm a perfectionist .., however 3D printers need time to print and people need time to pack, so here goes: www.printables.com/model/137231...
Please read the information, but I think it's come out pretty well.

The Omnifixo plate with a 3d printed case above. The case contains a Type-C to DC Jack adapter, the TS100 soldering iron, and the Omnifixo clamps. There are also two magnets that hold the Omnifixo plate on top, forming a case.

Like many recently, I have joined the Omnifixo owner's club. Together with this case from @commar.bsky.social, it's the perfect all-in-one travel solution!

New LED polyhedron build is underway. It's a dihedral hexacontahedron with 60 kite-shaped sides. My PCB polyhedron builds are getting better. These 3D printed tile covers use a translucent PETG designed for lithophanes plus a larger air gap than the last build for much smoother diffusion.

Got a case designed and printed for my open source #spotify car thing powered by the #ESP32. The knob on the side controls volume and the buttons on top do playback! Now I just need to figure out how to decorate it! I'd love to hear any ideas if you have them!! #arduino #electronics #music

01.12.2024 22:39 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Assembling magnetic mounts for LED panels. Each mount is about 10 cm wide by 3 cm high, and has six magnets anchored to them in a 3 by 2 arrangement. The magnets have M4 threads on them anchored by locking hex nuts. At the upper left is the remnant from an earlier attempt of threading the magnets directly into the holders. Trying to tap the threads accurately proved to be problematic.
Working on a large LED scoreboard. These are magnetic mounts for the panels that fit into T-slot extruded aluminum rails.
