4/5 Rama-Tut On Reveal: Use 3 On Reveals from cards released before Rama-Tut's time.

Rama-Tut - Seasonal S5 Pack (March 31st) 2/5???⭐️ Look, I don't even know how to rate this card on power. His grab bag of possible on reveals is massive and range from game winning to an immediate retreat. 4/5 is a perfectly fine stat line to give him a play but this is a card that seems like pure, chaotic fun. He'll steal you a game at one turn, and lose you one at another, but I do think enough of these effects he can choose from are just "fine" and won't be particularly special. Snap.fan has a whole list of what he can hit and it's a completely crazy grab bag. I'm excited to try and high roll with this guy but I don't expect him to be a major player as he's too inconsistent.

And finally, Rama-Tut, our last Seasonal S5 pack card. Random chance in a 4/5 body. Very fitting for a Kang variant! Thanks to Snap.fan for the list of card effects he can potentially use!

5/9 Ozymandias Ongoing: Your Rocks have +3 Power.

Ozymandias - High Voltage Overdrive S4 (March 23rd-30th) 4/5⭐️ This is your payoff for the Rocks deck and the fact it's a free card from HVO is beyond awesome. I love that Second Dinner is building a new archetype into the game through the Season Pass (sorta) and the game modes this season rather than specifically into the S5 packs. Feels so great. Ozymandias is a fantastically statted 5-cost already and synergizes with a great handful of under played cards like Rhino, Debrii, Mole Man, and even HERBIE, plus the aforementioned Sandstorm. You'll have to build carefully around your Rocks and make sure you can hit your payoffs and not die to a Killmonger, but he's a big 5/9 that can output some insane power in the right builds. What a cool card.

Next is our second limited time game mode card, from High Voltage Overdrive, running from the 23rd to the 30th, Ozymandias. This is THE rocks payoff, and as such, he rocks!

4/4 Selene Horseman of Famine Objective: Have 3 cards with no abilities in play -> Steal 5 Power from an enemy card here.

Selene Horseman of Famine - Seasonal S5 Pack (March 24th) 2.5/5⭐️ Selene is a nice stat stick for the upcoming Rocks deck and I'm not sure she has a purpose in really any other deck other than Ultron, who doesn't really see meaningful play. I worry that her cost makes her awkward on the curve for that deck though as 4 is going to be one of your best times to play Sandstorm which can on its own outvalue Selene's ceiling as a 4/14 with Patriot and/or Ozymandias and some 1/6 rocks. She asks for enough ability-less cards that not even stuff like Hood has a high chance of making her more splashable, so I worry she's the 13th card in a Rocks deck even if her actual numbers are quite nice.

Next is our penultimate Seasonal S5 Pack card, Selene Horseman of Famine. Seems like a card that also fits the rock deck, but will she make the cut?

3/4 Caliban Horseman of Pestilence Objective: Have 3 cards that are 4-Cost or higher in play -> Afflict the highest-Cost enemy card with -7 Power.

Caliban Horseman of War - Seasonal S5 Pack (March 17th) 3/5⭐️ Caliban is a good card that I'm unsure the decks that he regularly fits in will be playing a lot of. He has strong potential to be a 3/11, but decks like Ramp aren't going to want to play a 3-cost card like this over their Turn 3 ramp effects. Not to beat a dead horse as a huge Wiccan fan, but I'm not even sure it has a strong home there as the deck CAN play 3 4+ cards, but doesn't always. There is one really major home for this card to me and that is Doom 2099. Could this be the last piece to the puzzle of that deck that really helps bring it fully into the meta? That deck generates 3 additional DoomBot 2099s over the normal course of the game AND Doctor Doom creates 3 6-drops. That deck is all about being a stat check and would likely love a 3/11 over their current plays. Could see this out valuing new Drax in that list in some cases, though Aurora works with Drax and doesn't with Caliban, and she's a premier 6-drop for that deck. We'll see!

Next is another Seasonal S5 Pack card, Caliban, Horseman of Pestilence.

2-cost Skill Sandstorm On Reveal: Add 2 Rocks to your hand. Give them +1 Power for each of your front-Row characters.

Sandstorm - Team Clash Series 4 (March 12th-19th) 3/5⭐️ Sandstorm reads very powerful, but it also seems very crunched on timing for pulling off playing out a 2-cost skill while your lanes are actually full enough for this card to be impressive. There's one little play I think could actually be fantastic though - this on a late turn with Black Swan out, saving your Ozymandias (which I'll talk about in a second) and a swarm of rocks for T6. The Rocks deck looks primed for some real shenanigans and I'm really excited to play with it and see how it feels. Get your Caieras ready though as I expect more Killmongers to be floating around if this card and subsequent deck end up very good. I'm also curious about slotting this in to a Wiccan deck as well though, as this is a 2-cost skill that generates 1-cost cards. I'm not sure it's better than our current suite of 2s like Kate and Merlin, but the numbers line up in an intriguing way. I also am curious if it counts itself on play or not. I don't think it will, but Skill timing is very weird.

Next is our first limited time game mode card of the month, Sandstorm, coming from the Team Clash mode running from the 12th to the 19th. Rocks deck is real!

3/3 Gambit Horseman of Death Objective: Play 5 total Cost of created cards Randomly destroy up to 4 total Cost of enemy cards.

Gambit Horseman of Death - Seasonal S5 Pack (March 10th) 4.5/5⭐️ Another absolutely terrifying card that I think is going to put some real pressure on the meta for early game, lower cost cards and encourage some fodder to get played to try and soak some of what he can destroy. His condition feels laughably easy to meet with cards like Mysterio, Iron Patriot, and Valentina that I'm really not sure he's going to stay in his current effect/statline for long. Any deck that is generating cards and playing them is going to have a field day with this guy and I'm quite fearful of what the meta will look like under him. One big note for Gambit is that he specifically says **play**, so cheating created cards out won't work, but he works with so many already powerful cards that I can't see this being anything but great. Heck a Kate Bishop and a Merlin complete his objective in just a couple turns as well. Crazy stuff.

Next is the week 2 Seasonal S5 Pack card, Gambit, Horseman of Death. This card scares me!

2/2 Juggernaut Horseman of War Objective: Have 6 different Powers among your other cards in play +6 Power.

Juggernaut Horseman of War - Seasonal S5 Pack (March 3rd) 2/5⭐️ This card is basically a 2/8. Does your deck want a 2/8? Does your deck play a variety of powers? Play Juggernaut. Otherwise don't. Incredibly boring card but it's big. Doesn't seem like a card anyone is actively trying to get but will have a home, I'm sure. I can see this getting played as a stat stick in Supergiant, Zoo, maybe something like a Wiccan midrange deck that just wants big guys. I'm just really not excited about this as a card and think this is a poor showcase of the Objective mechanic. The fact it can get Shadow Kinged back down to a 2/2 is even more painful to me if the Objective is met before T6. I will give it some credit that you can play it T6 as a 2/8 unexpectedly while being SK proof though!

Next is the first Seasonal S5 Pack card, Juggernaut, Horseman of War.

4/3 Isca the Unbeaten End of Turn: If you're losing this location, double this card's Power.

Isca the Unbeaten - Super Premium Season Pass/Seasonal S5 Pack (March 3rd) 4.5/5⭐️ This card dies so hard to Shadow King on T6, but I am immediately feeling like this card goes CRAZY with Invisible Woman First Steps and feels like it'll be a complete terror there. Massive improvement for that deck. Even in most normal decks she can normally be a base 4/12 if you were losing there initially all 3 turns which definitely makes her very hard to contest properly. She's even crazier if you can buff her at all before she comes down. This card seems terrifying and I'm excited to see what she can do. Thank god she didn't stay a 3/2! She seems fairly reasonable to manipulate into growing with stuff like the Hood as well, especially if you have ways to ditch that Hood later. I expect to see a lot of this card next season.

Next is the Super Premium Pass card, Isca the Unbeaten, who can also be obtained through the Seasonal S5 Packs day 1. Card seems nuts!

4/5 En Sabah Nur Objective: Have a full front row at each location -> Transform into Apocalypse, Celestial's Chosen

4/8 Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen On Reveal: Swap the lowest-Power card in your front row at any location with a card from your deck.

En Sabah Nur / Apocalypse, Celestial's Chosen - Season Pass (March 3rd) 3/5⭐️ I want to have high hopes for this card, but his flip side has no guarantees on what it hits. It's unlikely you'll flip into something WORSE, but the ceiling for how high he does flip doesn't seem that good. You could hit an Infinaut or just your Squirrel Girl that was hiding in your deck that you were planning to use to fill. Weird card. 4/8 is a nice stat payoff for meeting his objective and all and he becomes an On Reveal so you can even repeat his effect with cards like Odin and Grandmaster so there's definitely some synergies here at least. I'm curious to see who can break this, but nothing is immediately springing to mind.

🏆Best Overall Card - Victoria Hand. Lifted so many cards up, was consistently very powerful, super fun to build.
🏆Best Pass card - Merlin. Endlessly flexible, powerful, but very fun due to the RNG!
🏆Best LTGM - HVO. Huge improvements from last time, no ticket system, amazing new card.

The Power Question Mark is definitely the hardest to figure out anyway so seems ready for rampant speculation haha

Agents, Atlantis, Spider-Man 4, Pet Avengers, What If 2/Mirror Realm, Savage Lands 2, ???, Doomsday?

Thoughts?

The concept seems to be doing some work for a big payoff for any cards that work well with incremental power gains - Clea, Shaw, Carter, Maverick. In practice, the version we're receiving looks almost worthless to try.

And that's another infinite done! Another really frustrating climb - Second Dinner really needs to look at what a slog the ranked ladder is these days.
