Tonight, I learned an old family friend passed a year ago and no one wrote them an obituary. I cried for her and for a home that hasn’t existed in decades. I gave myself insomnia. Then I had an odd interaction with B.D. Wong on Threads. It’s been a…weird…night. I think I’ll read myself to sleep now.

The deployment of federalized National Guard troops to California, without consent from local or state officials, is deeply troubling. These are tactics seen in authoritarian regimes, not in America. We want to be clear, the military should not be used to police civilians.

Thanks. I’m working with a neurologist, kinda. He is referring me to a headache specialist, but it’s been a month since my last appt and I still haven’t gotten the referral, despite calling too. My rheumatologist gave me a steroid rx for a different issue so hoping that helps with the migraine too

Anyone know how to make it stop? I can’t think clearly

I’ve been in status migrainosus since March 5th. I’ve been given two migraine cocktails since with no relief. I’m tired and stressed and dizzy and nauseated and I just want to feel like myself again.

😝 yeah, I did a nuclear drill in kindergarten and 1st grade. Which was 90 and 91. Idk if we had 🔫 drills either but the fear was certainly there. I do remember 💣 lockdowns too though. My cousins grew up in Littleton, MA and they had so many threats after Columbine

Some of us elder millennials experienced nuclear drills AND the threat of mass shootings, myself included

I’ve read a lot of these great books, but unfortunately the people who need to hear their lessons will not get it

I used to go to sunrise service with my mom every Easter. I don’t do religion anymore but those services were so beautiful. I say go for it!
