I was surrounded by this type of rhetoric growing up and it’s caused a lot of my self esteem problems, plus my tendency towards hyper independence. Feeling like a failure is something I still struggle with whenever things aren’t going perfectly for me despite all of the things I have achieved.

I kind of hate how we were all kind of coerced growing up into thinking shit like we need to have successful careers the moment we enter our 20s and if you don’t move out of your parents house the nanosecond you turn 18 you’re a mooch, a loser, and a failure.

I’m also finding I’m enjoying Reaper gameplay far more than Athena gameplay…but maybe part of that is because Athena DESPERATELY needs an update and more to do that’s faction specific.
