I love how Octavia and Blitz have so many parallels. Octavia's world is figuratively burning down as she tries to cope with the fact that her dad (she feels) has essentially abandoned her. Meanwhile, Blitz is just extra (I guess) as he watches his world burn, literally.

It doesn't surprise me too much? Charlie is pretty tall and I honestly never felt like Loona was actually that tall on her own - she's just constantly around short people so she seems taller by comparison.

I'll admit when I saw that, I wasn't even thinking about THOSE kinds of ships? My brain kind of automatically went to ships where they couldn't work in canon due to stuff like orientation issues - stuff where I'll admit I have fun playing with gender and that sort of thing.

You know what? Any time Loona is the only member of IMP left out of a short (not counting Stolas because of the whole nebulous timeline thing with the shorts) I am going to imagine she's at Bee's with Tex. During a party? Alone? Doing what? Doesn't matter, she's with them.

1.) Come up with some super complex explanation that tries to keep as much of canon intact as possible while still making your concept work

2.) Literally just going "This isn't canon anyway, I can do what I want" and having fun being chaotic.

I love how when it comes to fanfic concepts that technically go against established canon, there's two main camps of how to deal with it:

I actually think the biggest mystery to me in Helluva is Stolas's mother? Because unlike Loona's birth parents, where we kind of have some idea why we've never seen/heard about them, there doesn't seem to be anything like that for Stolas's mom?

I loved the bit in the announcement video where Loona shows Stolas something on her phone. I want more tiny nonverbal interactions like these between all four characters. It's so sweet and shows how they care about each other. 💖

Bee in my fic/AU has wanted to be a mother for a very, very long time, and never got the chance until recently. As a result, she loves whenever she can remind herself of the fact that she has children now, as well as takes every opportunity to spoil them (and her partners, of course).
