I'll be honest, I don't know the comics at all, I'm also just into the movies and there is way too much lore for me to catch up on, so hopefully it should be easy enough to follow for other casual fans haha!

Unfortunately the characters on the right are an old woman receiving unwelcome attention from a faun, but she looks like she's gonna beat the shit out of him for it which is great 👍 Otherwise they're having a great time

I would be embarrassed about getting the artist wrong for this artwork but no one ever called me out and now I'm more disappointed about that (it's Anthony Van Dyck who worked in Rubens' studio so some sites listed it as a Rubens, wtf, art documentation online has gotten so ass)

StickerMule has been rotten for ages, as has ULINE, but as with a lot of small-art-business inside-baseball stuff, I don't expect people to automatically know. But now you know.

Pages 4-6 🏳️‍🌈 My computer has been gifted miraculous extended life and returned to me at last, I hope I can finish all 132 pages of this comic before I have to replace it 🤧

And by good script I just mean understanding what the characters are feeling and what the tones of the scenes should be, etc, it matters a LOT. But yeah that is to say, I'm in the exact same boat, it's a mysterious process and I don't know how people do it!!

I spent sooo long this year looking at award winning comics and trying to suss this out and the things I noticed: 1) good script, 2) 200 pages, and 3) design/environment motifs. Good scripts and motifs help lead paneling decisions naturally and high page count keeps you from feeling restricted.

Thank you very much for the tips! I do illustration and commonly prep it for print/production so I was worried csp wouldn’t be able to cover all my bases, so I really appreciate the supplemental software tip! I will check out!
