I was letting you know that when you buy from audible books and others like it, they pay the author when you buy the book, but if you return it, they charge the author not only the cost of the book, also 'fees' for relist it. As an author, I know about this. Sorry Kier, will not post again.

The trouble with audio books, depending on which company you go with, the authors get paid, but many people return the books, which means the company charges the author for not only the returned book, but also other fees. It's a money maker for them.

I'm a boomer. Damn it, we fought all this crap before. We protested in the streets, we signed petitions, we had huge gatherings in Washington, some of us got shot and died for crying out loud. We should NOT have to do this again!

The gas company has been working across the street all morning. No notice, but then again, I still have service so I won't worry about it. Besides, if something goes wrong, they are literally just across the street. I won't know it even happened until the I reach the Goddess! lol.

Went yesterday and then made the foolish choice to go back this morning for the Open House. Holy Crap, not doing that again, lol. But, what would have cost me over my allowance for groceries for the month at WM, cost me HALF that at Aldi's. I like their brands better anyway, lol. I am soooo happy!

Am doing a happy dance- they opened an Aldi's just 31 miles from me. I spent a very happy hour and a half in there, and spent far less than I would have at the mart of walls. Hardest part? Pulling my wagon up my ramp to get stuff in the house, lol.

This Thursday was the 7th anniversary of my husband's sudden death. Friday was the 7th anniversary of my moms death. Yeah, one day later. I wonder if I will ever get over him being gone? I miss so many little things. Being held, having someone to wash my back, inside jokes. All the little things.
