Foal watchbhas begun with mustang mare Freya! Our previous year's foals arrived the last week of February. So I suspect that when the next one will come too!

Baby Charm had her 1st bath! She was super annoyed when I started but her foal coat keeps her so hot she was pretty pleased with the idea of cooling down. Then she stood completely still lol!
I think she's a roan and am hoping a bath helps her shed faster!

Ben is struggling a bit since coming back. He hasn't allowed a halter to be put on, and spooks when I extend the target. He will come around eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I managed to ride a horse today! Doc, as always, does a great job taking care of me. Left leg is still weaker than the right, but the walking around has helped. And I was able to ride to 15 minutes today. I'll see if I can keep that up this week!

After a bit of time decompressing, Ben is started back in training. I think we will just work on touch for now. He was a bit over whelmed with the RRP.

I found a baby tooth in the pasture today. Not sure who's it is, and it was pretty dirty so it could have been there a day or a year. Who knows. I'm keeping it anyway 😁

Ben is back from the trainer we sent him to. He now knows less than when he left. I guess i saw it coming when she said she was a bit scared of him. But I thought she was at least working with him.
Guess I'm coming out of retirement.

Yes. She's been hurting this past winter. So I'm thinking this is hee last summer. You can always come by to say goodbye if you want.

Pretty sure he was dumped out here to run free. Pitties have a hard time getting adopted. So I let him adopt me. Sorry he jumps on you, I'm not a dog trainer.

This one is Ari. He's coming 4 and a mustang from the Warm Springs reservation. I should mention that I mainly work with/own reservation mustangs. Native Americans do not get any federal funding to manage their herds. So I do my best to help get their horses into homes.

This is Misty, a 2, almost 3 year old Warm Springs mustang. 1st pic is her the day I picked her up, 2nd pic is 3 days later. A total sweetheart. Turns out she is pregnant, and due soon! Today I saw signs of her bagging up at night. So I'm excited for the new baby to arrive!

This is Bad Ass Lass. There are a lot of dun horses out here, she was the 1st and the best. She's retired at 23 due to navicular, but we've been having adventures since 2008! Love this girl.
