Childless Cat Lady The world is terrible but I have cute cats. 🐱 My rescue cats are Tater Tot (orange & white, 7 years old) and Truffles (tabby grey, 9 months old)

I’m very thankful for these two today. They bring me nothing but joy. The last 3 years have been the hardest of my life. Could not have made it through without Tater Tot and now Truffles adds more joy.

I adopted Truffles in September. I’ve had Tater Tot since 2018. At times he’s lived with another cat or a small dog, but I was worried about how he’d feel with another cat around. This is their first time snuggling. Or sort of snuggling.

People born and raised in the city get so upset about suburbanites saying we are from Chicago. I’m sorry when I was traveling in Vietnam saying I was from Naperville or Illinois only confused people. I’d say Chicago and they immediately understood.

The Petfinder photo of Truffles. Born in March and somehow abandoned in her first 6 months of life. Ended up in a dog rescue and was brought from Texas to IL to be fostered.

I had a cat that did this. I love it. Guests would stay over and go to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and find a cat in the sink.
