Us Brits say "daft twat" on a regular basis, it's the go-to insult for us. Although I think we pronounce "twat" differently - rhymes with "hat" - which makes it sound harsher. 😂

In this image in the series the lady is the apparition, a bleed-through from the world of the living in which she is mourning the death of a loved one.

Wasn't sure my latest ghost image was finished at first, I felt the left side was a bit empty, then I realised I liked how it made the wolf look as if it was heading into the darkness.

I'm fascinated by Crewdson's work, the narratives in his photos pose so many questions, and his ability to think of such amazing ideas and translate them visually is so inspiring to me - If I had only 1% of his talent I'd be happy.

One of my fave films is 'Perfect Days' so I wanted to watch something similar, and ended up finding my new fave director in Hirokazu Koreeda. His films are full of heart, sometimes tragic and sometimes funny, and I can totally recommend them.

I read earlier today that Spielberg was originally going to have this story as an episode of his 'Amazing Stories' TV series, but he loved the idea that much that he turned it into a feature film - great film, and what a cast.

"They're coming for you! Look, there comes one of them now!"

I absolutely love how gritty the first film is, definitely one of my favourite films - think a rewatch is in order.

I love doing it, it helps me keep my mind quiet by "visiting" this world. I'm actually inspired by dystopian films/TV/books but choose to create a world here that is a happier place and a form of escapism for me.
