this is a photo of the sun setting into the Pacific Ocean. The water is calm, just small ripples of waves. And only a fraction of the sun remains visible, brightly, while a semi-circular orange glow radiates above it.

Someday, this current administration will end, and I imagine all of them dropping into the ocean.

The beach will be lined with observers. Many will cheer wildly. Others will just smile as the orange fades away.

Here is a black and white photo of a single rose, it appears white in this photo. It's surrounded by stems not yet open as flowers, but they're trying. Like we all are right now, trying to develop the real beauty that can be America again.

Here's a close look at the light green and spiky arms of an aloe vera plant. They curve and overlap, almost looking like they're trying to get out of each other's way. A couple of the arms have orange highlights on edges and tips.
