I know it’s not funny, but my partner Ty is also blind without glasses and he says breaking them is akin to the scene in A Christmas Story where Ralphie steps on his glasses in the snow and just says “Oh no…” (Ty has multiple pairs but can barely see out of his oldest ones due to changing vision)
