Youth Mental Health & Creativity - The Music Works x Arts Council England

Many young people are offered antidepressants at their 1st appointment (against NICE guidelines) when it isn’t always the right path. Getting involved in community and in creativity can make a huge difference. We need to invest in hubs like The Music Works and expand social prescribing options.

Great to join The Music Works at their Creative Futures Day to talk about creative health and wellbeing.

Hearing directly from young people about how much The Music Works has supported their mental health is powerful proof that creative health works.

If this is truly rock bottom how do we get ourselves out of it?
