I don’t find co-opting faith to be a good look and it’s another mark of a tyrant. Any religion that preaches on respecting and aiding the poor and the sojourners has no place being morphed into a worship of money and power. The greatest strength is humility, vulnerability and love, always.

I am officially seven days into my 54-day novena, and while my health is getting weird (I have a severe cold) I believe it to be part of my process. Here’s to another 47, I suppose.

Since it’s an art project, I’m going to consider getting my gold paint and creating a cover image to etch into the front. Likely some Biblical allusion to the need to be the light of the world, etc etc. The details of that part have yet to be ironed out. Suffice it to say I have a lot of searching.

So I’m setting up a VERY basic setup for the redaction project I have ahead of me and so far I’ve tripped over several wires and had a fun time hiding trans colors in the background image. This is gonna be fun once I manage to get m6 setup how I like it.
