In South Waziristan, a clash between militants and security forces left a young #girl orphaned, and two #women were killed.
Just yesterday in North #Waziristan, a similar clash injured three people, including a #woman.
How long will civilians pay the price?

Three years ago today, my close friend Waqar Dawar, along with Suned, Hamad & Asad, was brutally martyred in #Wazirstan.
They stood for peace in Waziristan — worked for it — but were taken by the same violence they opposed.

Today marks the 20th martyrdom anniversary of Senator Malik Faridullah Khan Wazir.
He gave his life for peace in #Waziristan.
For the past 20 years, hundreds of our tribal elders have been brutally killed in a war that wasn’t ours.
May Allah grant all martyrs the highest place in Jannah.

A drone strike hits Azam Warsak in South #Waziristan, leaving over a dozen injured.
