Ty, I've also been able to tackle accents recently, which has been a lot of fun and something I haven't really done much before! Did a Slavic accent for one project and Southern for another. 😁

Usually, I try and match the OG voice to some degree, but I decided to try something different and do a lower, more regal take on her voice.

A VA coach helped me a ton, it's not a 'requirement,' but it can help with insecurities and in my case, better control over my vocal fry.

So I'd say find an affordable coach and go from there! Worst that happens is you decide it's not for you and lose a little money in the process.

If you've had this interest for a very long time, absolutely go for it! I was very (and still am to some degree) insecure about my voice, so when I decided I wanted to pursue this; I spoke with a VA coach. I saw them for about maybe a year or more-ish before I started auditioning for projects.

Hey voice actors!

If you ever find yourself doubting yourselves, your voice, or just feeling down in general. Take some time to chill and remember how unique your voice & talents are! ❤️

Then once you're rested, take that little negative voice inside your head and swing on that hoe.

Sure I could get the original NPC dialogues, but I think it'd be way more fun to work with other VAs for projects like these - if possible and if there's interest of course.
