friend posted this draw your fave characters template and spent the day having fun with it

been spending some time creating drafts of the next area to see what i like

...I say "draft" but they'll probably remain in this state for the next year and a half xD

made a new character sheet for Iruruu to help with the updated steam capsule

with the background and story mostly set in stone I swear this is the final redesign and I'm moving on to other characters now xDD

4 panels, the first is just the waves of the ocean and some big ol’ clouds. the next three are focused on each of the new pokemon starters. Browt a little chicken looking guy is sitting on a log in a forest on the edge of a beach. Pombon a fluffy fire dog is standing proudly on some rocks while waves crash against them and lastly gecqua, a water gecko snoozes on a rock in a swampy pond area.

Two posts from Tumblr user awakefor48hours "You should create for yourself" and "it's okay to feel discouraged when creating your own original projects if no one interacts with them" are two sentences that should be able to co-exist with each other On the one hand, you should kill that capitalist in your head that tells you to make art only for the enjoyment of other people. On the other hand, it's totally fine to be disappointed that you spent hours or even days on something that only got 4 notes. You can feel both ways.
