Schwäbisch Hall hat ja ein Jahrzehntelang gewachsenes Fernwärmenetz und baut das sukzessiv aus. Ich studiere diverse kommunale Wärmepläne und manchmal macht es Spaß Zahlen nochmal im Vergleich zu setzen.

Eine energetische Sanierung reduziert Energiekosten pro Haushalt um circa 50% aber es ist doch faszinierend, dass es lediglich 3 Windkrafträder mehr braucht, wenn wir nicht renovieren und lediglich auf eine Wärmepumpe umrüsten.

Schwäbisch Hall braucht ca 500 GWh pro Jahr zum Heizen. Das ist das Equivalent zu 50 Millionen Litern Heizöl im Jahr oder der Stromerzeugung von 45 Windkrafträdern pro Jahr. Dank Wärmepumpe bräuchte es nur 15 Windräder. Wenn alle Häuser vernünftig gedämmt werden, bräuchte es 3 Windturbinen weniger.

Aber das liegt auch daran, dass Regierungsparteien einfach schlechten und langweiligen Content machen und das sag ich als ehemaliger SPD MdB-Mitarbeiter.

I totally agree with you but the question is how? In Germany we use about the natural gas equivalent of 52 nuclear power plants or 53.555 wind turbine for heating alone. It’s a massive infrastructure undertaking to install all the heat pumps and on a district heating level a redundancy is necessary

Not complete non-sense for bivalent heating systems in cities where the electricity grid is struggling with winter peak demands. At least in German municipalities a lot of municipalities run CHP plants on biogas and it’s important to test H2 blending for a potential seasonal energy storage.
