Bridgeport councilwoman expected to testify Tuesday in trial related to 2020 killing Charles Young, 38, faces charges of murder and carrying a pistol without a permit in connection with the death of 21-year-old Nyair Nixon Sept. 27, 2020.

Supervisory Assistant State's Attorney Michael DeJoseph said [Bridgeport City Councilwoman Eneida] Martinez was expected to testify to having the interior of the club cleaned up before police gained entry, thus explaining a relative lack of physical evidence.
