I had to do this with Parasite Eve after I realized I had never increased my stats a single time for almost half of the game

i think this is kinda true and also exacerbated by the ability to post directly or indirectly at the developer of a game immediately when their game hurts your feelings in some way.

basically you put a ton of grease in the game in the hopes the squeaky wheels leave you alone

also the game in the thumbnail has what I would consider to be a very long tutorial
