Grebes off Ross Links, and 200+ Russian White-fronts in the Long Nanny-Turgall area #NEbirding

Some of the 11 Taigas at Hoppen Kiln Flash this a.m. Absolutely amazing things, and so close 😃. A bit of variation in bill structure and there's at least one of 'em I'd struggle with if I saw it by itself. One of them was repeatedly shaking it's head, which is a worry😕. #NEbirding

232 Russian Whitefronts at The Long Nanny - Tughall this a.m. Only countable when down in the flooded area. There was a possible 2cy Greenland with Pinks in the flooded area, but I couldn't find it (or even see most of the birds) when they moved to the fields @gary-woodburn.bsky.social

Bradford Council closed 3 recycling centres to save £900,000 a year, leaving some people with a 22 mile journey. The result is hardly surprising & the overall cost will likely be higher financially & environmentally.

The close White-billed Diver was really close at Blyth late a.m. The one off the beach was quite distant and last seen disappearing into the heat-haze near St Mary's Island. Awesome.

Clearly this latest development only tells voters one thing - you will employ any type of political deception (or in Urdu “Dhoka” ) to win. You will be very aware that all three real tactical voting organisations are recommending a vote for the Greens as the best way to stop Reform. Lying to the voters, as you have been caught doing, raises the real prospect that Reform will be the beneficiaries, something you have said that you don’t want.
