The sounds of cruel laughter is intermittently mixed in. #2 has the more reserved, almost quiet word of 'friend' over their head.

Been real moody lately so I did some hate drawing to get it out.
I'm not unfamiliar with rejecting friends for stupid reasons because sometimes accepting them is scarier than returning to the cruelties you're more familiar with.
On Reddit, I titled it "Enemy You Know". It fits.

You're not wrong. As a would-be animator unless you're doing goated anime simple is the best way to go from a production stand-point. I say you accomplished your goal very well.

I thought so because of the eyes and the general shape language you used. But still, it's very cool regardless. Did you have any style inspirations or did you make something based on what you liked? I'm just curious.

I never read the books but your designs are so appealing. Am I right in thinking they have a little inspiration from Kim Possible?
