Personally the big red flag is that I’ve been absolutely flooded with ads for this stuff. There’s a big difference between a doctor recommending it to someone who’s struggled with alternatives and these companies constantly pushing that shit on us when it’s worse than free alternatives

Landlords do this all the time — but it's often illegal and makes the lease void.
