If Mario Kart which was the most successful series in all of Nintendo got that much flack, even if it was genuinely from a vocal minority. There is no universe where those any of those other 3 series will suddenly change these people's minds. As long as 80$ games are on the table that is.

I feel like a lot of people saying a big single player Mario, Zelda or Smash Game will be what "saves" the Switch 2 in the current hater corner's eyes is incredibly naive lol.

Even going with these assumptions these people don't follow her socials, the amount of left leaning/anti right wing themes that have been in the Hellaverse since the beginning are literally screaming at you in the face. Not sure where these takes are coming from I'm genuinely confused.

But I did get a few people getting mad because I took a jab at Trump having similar tendencies to Vox. Really having trouble wrapping my head why even a slight Trump defender would be watching HH in the first place. When Viv has been extremely vocal about how much she despises him lol.

Unfortunate how a video I'm the most proud of quality wise compared to pretty much anything I've been out lately on main is getting the most flack I've seen in a while mostly because...of the timing of the video?? Probably wouldn't be as annoyed if the work put into it was much less.

Also goes to show how much of a massive hypocrite the anti Nintendo guy is (assuming he shares the same views as his brother). Nintendo sucks to them, but surely supporting Donald Trump of all people will lower the chances of Nintendo's pro capitalist business practices!

Today I learned the guy who made this hit piece on ZA is the real life brother of the guy who called Spider Man 2 woke propaganda. Really helped paint a clearer picture 🤣

But it's also possible this is just a content bubble specific thing with western cartoon focused content. As many other friends/mutuals seem to be experiencing similar issues. Just sucks is all.

But now it's like, a video will do randomly well and all other future videos won't get pushed in the game way. Hopefully some Youtube analyst figures this out and shares the info because I want to know wtf is going on lol. A view gap between two of my videos THIS large doesn't feel real.

I feel like the Youtube algorithm has changed in a way where they don't push channels consistently anymore. Like if a channel has one video do REALLY well, usually the algorithm would continue to push future content from that channel to where those newer videos would get relatively comparable stats.

Just feels weird how this NEVER gets brought up by this incredibly vocal crowd of people when it's literally the main reason for all of this lol.

It's fine to call out those practices, but going after the consumers is extremely unproductive when the root cause of all of this shit is how the system in the US works in favor of this greed. With the current president trying to feed off of these practices as much as possible.

The groups of gamers who are incredibly vocal about companies anti consumer practices while they simultaneously are right wing/voted for Trump are the most interesting people on planet earth.

It's hard not to get even a little bitter when seeing these channels thrive as someone who's been doing it for so long and is pulling a fraction of theirs. Not saying I want them to fail, but I feel like the channels putting out higher quality editing should at least be rewarded more. Is what it is.

Id have the same issues if the overly positive channels were thriving in the same manner. Both sides have made good points imo when it comes to the practices of these companies. It just sucks how the actual video quality these people put out is laughably bad but they pull the numbers they do.

I think what annoys me the most about "Nintendo negativity content" more than anything is it takes absolutely 0 effort to make. You skim through these people's videos and it's 20+ min of uncut gameplay footage of some random game while they yap. Video proceeds to get like 30k views in a day.

Just saw a YouTube community tab post where someone unironically quoted Malcom X about how the gaming industry is manipulating the masses with every new decision they make. Any time I think I'm too chronically online I'm just going to look at that post to make myself feel better 👍

You could've just ended it in the first half. I stg these people can't be real there's no way. The guy was also publicly subscribed to all the Hollow Knight channels I gave praise to for making their brands so big off of just these 2 indie games.

Types of comments that have started to annoy me more are the ones that take video titles in the form of questions as literally as possible without joking.

Anyone who starts a video about how *insert thing is bad when a billion other notable content creators made similar videos* by saying:
"I really didn't want to make this video guys :/". I'm just going to assume you're an idiot lol.

Starting to question if I even want to cover Hazbin S2 to the same extent as I did with S1. Both videos I made on S2's trailers have been flopping in ways I didn't think was possible considering how well my S1 content performed. Idk why the drop is this drastic it feels super weird :/

After the 10th video from a different creator each time being like "80 dollar Mario Kart bad, DLC prices outrageous, Nintendo hates their fans, it's getting harder to support them etc." The spice starts to wear off at that point.

The only reason I haven't made one myself is I don't believe I'd be able to put a unique spin on it. That's why even though I agree with a lot of the points these people have, it's gotten pretty boring when it's one big echo chamber with no unique spin on the videos. Yet they all pull 100k minimum.

Even though what they've been doing as a company is undeniably bad, it kinda sucks how the only Nintendo related content that does well on YouTube rn is videos like "Nintendo sucks now here's why" type ones. Makes me want to branch out a little more but easier said than done.

Haven't gotten the Beatles yet not sure where they're at lol
