The real answer is to have a variety of transit options that compliment each other and could be used as substitutes.

Generally speaking, we subsidize families because we want people to afford to have kids. Young Canadians already struggle with that. Now, I'm not making an argument in favour of 3-bed requirements, but family subsidies must exist.

You're replying to the post of people who use (mostly?) other means of transportation, and you're surprised that they're “just learning about this now”. Based on the angle of the photo, it looks like it's taken from a passenger seat.

I know it's hard to believe, but some people don't drive!

Drivers feel entitled to block crosswalks just because right on red exists. RoR needs to be banned.

If say I wanted to buy a home and make $$$ in just a few years of doing nothing with it, I'd be less interested in doing this with this tax, which is good.

Building more housing causes prices to fall, which is what BC NDP is doing by making munis change zoning and deliver new homes. But more can be done.
