Listening to CNBC trying to explain the weakness in TSLA car sales and stock price they refuse to comment on the ‘elephant in the room’.
Musk sells EV’s to upper income and often environmentally-friendly consumers. Many of these are finding Musk’s anti-foreign aid, autocratic views distasteful.
The ‘other foot’ is coming down. After our tariffs raise prices for our consumers reigniting inflation for us, their retaliatory tariffs raise prices for THEIR consumers penalizing OUR exports.
This reduces our sales and may cost our jobs as business slows.
