There's been an uptick in impersonators who target users with easily swappable handles (i's for l's, o's for 0's, varying repeated letters, etc)
They will always
1) block the original artist
2) target users who have replied with interest, either thru QRPs, replies, or DMs

note that you have to change this (settings > languages) on *both* mobile and web separately, too. seems important to spread the word for ppl who follow international artists!

PSA ARTISTS:
SCAMMERS ARE ALREADY APPEARING ON BSKY! If you get a comm asking "can you draw a portrait of my child/pet" and offer a large sum of money upfront
IT'S 99% A SCAM
They will pretend to pay you more than what was owed and try to make you pay the difference, or send a phishing link!!
Post a GIF of a character you like and tag people to do the same!
May as well do this with the character who I've been brainrotting for at least over a year LOL Straight up never committed to c6-ing a character before him
