What I've learned about serving Markdown for LLMs:

Claude/Gemini: Can see the information in the JSON-LD and hidden links on the page. Claude called out both, Gemini only called out the JSON-LD when asked about it.

ChatGPT: Can only see the link on the page.

None of them can see <link> in <head>.

WebMCP is not MCP so much as a standard for allowing agents to execute JavaScript functions your UI likely already uses (so execute a search without needing to simulate a button press).

Unfortunately, I suspect it will NOT be picked up by SaaS platforms like Salesforce, QuickBooks, etc..
