All of the characters talked like HR-trained co-workers, the game really smoothed over alot of the darker elements of the lore, it was so obvious that there was outside influence.

Like I said it's a rumor. Dragon Age Veilguard did have outside "consultants" who were not veterans of the series that's a known quantity. It would explain the drastic dip in writing quality despite many of the veteran writers still being on the team.

I simply said the storyline was out of place and clearly there to shove a message down the player's throat. We have had gay characters, bi characters, trans characters, characters with ADHD etc. in this game series without any of that modern language being used. Because it wouldn't fit the setting.
