If you;

⭐ Have been diagnosed with Mpox since 2022.
⭐ Have been vaccinated against Mpox
⭐ Have made a significant effort to promote access to & uptake of health services during the 2022/23 Mpox outbreak
⭐ Are aged 18+

We are looking for 6-8 participants who are passionate about Public Health to take part in a series of collaborative writing workshops facilitated by Writing on the Wall (WoW) to develop a compelling and non-stigmatising Public Service Announcement (PSA) to raise awareness of MPox.

LSTM have successfully extended this project, aiming to develop a community-led-story-based Public Service Announcement (PSA) to raise awareness of the emerging threat posed by the 2024 clade 1 MPox outbreak and efforts undertaken both overseas, and in the UK to combat the threat.

Sahir have been working with The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), and Public Health Liverpool on the MPox: What's Your Story? Project... exploring the way MPox awareness has been promoted and communicated within our community.

Sahir would like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday 12th Jan to celebrate the life of James Lee Williams, The Vivienne. 💚

Over 1,000 people gathered on St George's plateau, alongside James' family, and laughed & cried at happy memories together.

Thank you again. 💚

Braved the cold tonight for the vigil for The Vivienne at St George’s Hall.

It was such a moving event, with some beautifully poignant speeches celebrating The Vivienne’s life and impact.

🕊️ Hundreds of people turned up to pay tribute to RuPaul’s Drag Race winner The Vivienne at the steps of St George’s Hall in Liverpool vigil on Sunday 12th January.

The event was organised with support from @sahirhouse.bsky.social one of Liverpool’s oldest LGBTQIA+ charities.

Today, we remember and honour our friend, brother, sister, son, uncle and all time powerhouse, James Lee Williams, The Vivienne.

Today is all about you, and will see Liverpool come together to show how much you meant to us, and the impact you had and will continue to have on us.

Sahir joined HIV partners in London to sign a letter to health secretary Wes Streeting asking the government to “stand side by side” with their cause.

“It is essential if we are to stay on track to meet the 2030 target of ending new HIV transmissions.”
