Proud to have chaired a cracking couple of panels on Urban regeneration in Milan and Lombardy. As a Milanese, born and bred, this was close to my heart.

Controversial decision by winner Richard Flanagan to refuse the Baillie Gifford Non Fiction Prize and money 💰 until BG stop investing in fossil fuels.
It was elegantly done but it’s a blow to the sponsor and the organisers. Flanagan spoke from the endangered Tasmanian forest.
