I do think Sea of Stars was really fun but it lacked that memorable party element to it because it focused solely on Garl.

5 months late to this but this game's greatest sin is being tied to the developer's earlier game, The Messenger. That anticlimactic ending is supposed to be a wink wink moment where you go "OHHHH SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST" but it makes things frustrating especially with the bland MCs.

I think one of the best signs that you are absolutely addicted to social media is if you keep coming back to certain sites because you enjoy watching the drama unfold or desire winning arguments.
That's not healthy, even if it can be funny.
Rewriting that part of my brain is gonna take a while.

Being popular relies mostly on luck of course but it doesn't mean you just let fans do the work for you while you limit their budget and give them little to nothing to work with.

Like yes the best we can do is send them emails about the lack of support. But it is frustrating as a fan from 2020 to see Stars being treated like the black sheep of the company. Get producers with experience in managing male talent so they can work on giving the Stars JP & EN more spotlight.

At this point, I'm just tired. It really feels like Cover just use the love fans have for the Stars for merch rather than do the bare minimum of actually supporting them with better budget and backing. It is like they expect fans to uplift the stars on their own.

For combat, yes.
Limited time event for now, but I suspect it will be officially released later.

I generally enjoy when vtubers commit to their keyfabe because it endears me to them but otherwise it is not a requirement in anyway.
Go nuts, grab a 2D or 3D model and do your thing.

If you ask me what a vtuber is, I'll say they are just a content creator with an animated avatar. That is it.
The original vtubers made semi-daily videos about various topics and not streams.
Any other defining trait is specific to certain types of vtubing rather than vtubing itself.

Hololive's insane growth made people assume things about the entire history of vtubing culture that aren't true at all. Nevermind that mainstream knowledge of vtubing is extremely wrong yet repeated ad nauseum.
Vtubing is a medium that encompasses singers, pro gamers, vrchat, and so much more.

I agree with the statement but I want to correct a very common misconception.
Vtubers weren't idols though? Nor is parasocial behavior tied to just idol culture because it predates it.
The first wave of vtubers were never idols and the old guard still around are themselves just regular streamers.
