I like my typical tropics weather. Give me 2-3 weeks in dec/jan of cool weather and that's the best. Anything more than that is a fucking nopasaurus. Oh, and I love maximum humidity. I'm a true lizard.

It’s almost correct. I'm no otaku, and I don't waste my time as it’s far more valuable to me. Also 50/50 on pretending to listen because I listen, but depending on what it is is whether I care.

Oh and I loathe and detest winter, snow, ice, and cold wind. I am proudly a fan of summer. ☀️🌦️

Xolani, a small warm-dark-grey drake, berating Circe, a taller, teal drake in a medical suite. Circe has freshly-bloodied bandages wrapped around her shoulder, and Xolani is scolding her for the nature of the injury being as serious as it was. Xolani looks aggressive, and Circe looks taken aback and irritated. The wound was a bite from another drake that Circe has partnered with and it got a horrible bacterial infection, and if she'd just cleaned it immediately after or just not allowed the bite to happen during, ahem, activities, she wouldn't now need to be on heavy antibiotics to keep her wound from going septic or necrotic, and she wouldn't need a lecture from her doctor about it! The BG is slightly blurred to make the subject stand out and easier to read.

Definitely need to spend a solid 24 hours flat on the beach enjoying sun and surf. This is the first time in my life -- ever, that I've been art blocked for almost the entire year.

But I am SO BUSY with the irl things driving me insane that I have zero time to calm down and decompress. None.

I wish I could be one of those people who dumps their private life publicly and can lean on the overall online art community when times are tough but I so literally so much of a withdrawn hermit that it’s impossible.

Life is excruciatingly hard lately, and all I want to do is sit down and draw.

hubbs n I just finished watching the saddest documentary T_T

I commit many-a-anatomy crime, but it was way worse in the past when I'd accidentally make legs too stumpy or heads too large.

since i've been drawing Rifts recently for the book, it's difficult because they're meant to be 3-4 heads tall but NOT have stubby legs or huge heads.

sometimes as an artist you get tunnel vision on a pic and can't see the flaws which is why I advocate for zooming the canvas WAY OUT so you can see your silhouettes and limb size and things of that nature. same for flipping horizontally.

it's so easy for us to miss annoying flaws bc we hyperfocus
