I wrote to Governor Hochul earlier this week urging the NYS Department of Health to issue a non-patient specific standing order for the #COVID19 vaccine.
I’m glad that the Governor heeded the call, but we can’t stop there — #NYS must also direct insurance companies to cover the cost of vaccines.
He is never afraid to speak truth to power, to always stand by his principles and to guide us through the most difficult times in history.
Jerry will always be my inspiration and his #WestSide constituents will miss his representation dearly.
