I have been watching the saga of the Yachatz beached whale on the Oregon coast, which is gotten all kinds of coverage up here and across the internet, most of it inaccurate, that tugs at one's heartstrings. 🐋🐳

I just finished "Hostage" by Eli Sharabi, former Israeli Hostage kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023 from his home in Kibbutz Be'eri and held in the tunnels of Gaza for 491 days.

It's a stunning book, and I encourage you to read it. It's also short and easy to read.
