Happy to report that I successfully completed the iconic 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan. 30 miles over 10 hours in challenging conditions. Not bad for a newbie open water swimmer near 60 years old. Wasn’t sure I could do it, but you never know until you try. Keep swinging for the fences!!!

And remember last year when Congress mandated more regional flights thru DCA despite ATC safety concerns? Congress has blood on its hands. It’s chaos in the skies around DCA.

Not surprising given the congested airspace. I live nearby and choppers often pass dangerously close to commercial planes. It was only a matter of time. We also see planes dangerously close to one another or feet above buildings. Congress did this by insisting on more flights despite the danger

And this is surprising to no one. Why aren’t the Dems blanketing the airwaves with insults, accusations, and outrage? People only pay attention to showmanship. Dems need to win the American people by attacking and belittling every little thing (like Trump egg prices). Belittle the bashtard daily!

We need froth-mouthed, table-pounding ranting on every channel from Dem leaders about Trump’s failed economy (egg prices), disregard for the Constitution, corruption, etc. instead we get nuanced disappointment by email with a request for money. Play offense! The electorate responds to showmanship.

Why aren’t the Dems blasting Trump’s egg prices 24/7 on every news outlet? Why aren’t they foam-mouth ranting about failed and pricey deportation flights? They need to get loud and obnoxious. It’s clearly what voters respond to. Dems need to go on offense.

Looks like it’s going to happen. I was accepted to swim the 28.5 mile 20 Bridges Marathon around NYC this summer. If your goals don’t scare you a bit, you’re not reaching far enough. I’m old and still a relative newbie to long distance open water swimming, but we’ll get it done!
