and also if people haven't noticed - this is the only commercial design i did where i brought put my true personal style to the table when designing it, and its exactly because of how the song made me felt, it would be disingenous to do anything but the "style" for the song, so i did

engaging in design is a constant learning journey about art, and about myself

and clearly i still have a lot to learn

i know its stupid for caring about such things and i AM happy with the art that i made, but seeing your peers doing better in both metrics and art skills (however u wanna define that) is a bit discouraging and makes me worry about "oh will people like this" many times in the past

wish i can be more carefree making art and not having to go insane about having to create for the sake of reaching an arbitrary number

too many things to manage, too little time. ive been trying to cut away my usage of social media (other than discord cus thats where i live online) but its really difficult to grow without the outreach of these platforms
