I love how politicians just Say Stuff. Nothing means anything to them!

Less than a week ago Angie Craig said she did NOT regret her Laken Riley Act vote when talking to a group of students. If she can watch Minnesotans get murdered in the street like dogs and not say anything…that’s her belief.

Admitting fault is usually good, but Craig's regret is worth nothing to those wrongfully targeted, deported, persecuted, and killed by this administration. She has to live with this as much as the rest of us and I cannot support someone whose values permitted them to support this legislation at all.

Letter From Minnesota: Waiting For the Barbarians to Get the F*ck Out When I came home from prison in 2022, I moved back to the Powderhorn Park neighborhood where I grew up. I was 21 years old when I left, I was 44 when I returned. It was supposed to be a much differ…

I’m just a Minneapolitan, standing in front of a country, asking them to stop platforming our mayor for swearing on tv about ICE and then doing nothing substantive while antagonizing city council members that are

If I managed a team of traveling agents, many with a binge drinking habit, I'd probably recommend a hotel with a bar just to discourage DUIs

Ah, I did forget banquet situations. I would find it particularly funny if DHS staff canceled their reservations in response to the threat of a delayed liquor license.

Minnesota man faces deportation to Laos for a crime he committed more than 30 years ago At β€œRicky” Chandee pled guilty to assault when he was 18 and served a prison sentence in the early 1990s. Since his release, he has worked for the city of Minneapolis for nearly 30 years. His family s...

Ricky Chandee was labeled the β€œworst of the worst” for an assault conviction from 1992, when he was 18.

His lawyer said his case raises an important question: β€œAt what point are we supposed to continue to say that if you've committed a crime, you're always a criminal?”

Stephen Miller wants to deport as many non white people as possible and his armed goons are killing city residents and sending children to concentration camps but my councilmember thinks it's important that hotel owners be able to continue to profit from housing them during their terror campaign.

Who cancels a hotel reservation over the hotel bar situation? As if there aren't other convenient (and likely nicer and/or better priced) drinking locations within walking distance of a downtown hotel

Are they drunk? I would believe they're drunk. If they aren't, it would probably be more fun, but no less serious, if they were.

Whenever the last really snowy winter was (2023?) and the berms in the MIDDLE of the street in Uptown were big enough to trap cars, two guys I didn't know and had never seen before or since gave me a push.

I think AOC is great but I find stories about politician "calls for impeachment" tiresome. I've seen a lot of calls and not a lot of action. It'd be great if they stopped talking about it and filed the damn paperwork

The human element is what makes music good. Every musician plays a little differently, every recording studio has a little different reverb, and every instrument is a little different. Why would we want a lowest common denominator canned tune from the plagiarism machine?

I don't understand how anyone thinks AI music is good. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of music (intentional expression through sound)?

My fav Sport face sunscreen is Neutrogena Sport Face SPF 70+. It leaves a little white cast, and feels a bit gloopy, but it doesn't sting and I've gotten away with not reapplying for longer than I should 😬. It has been my go-to for years and I like that the formula is thick enough to work all over

My budget pick for low-activity days is CeraVE Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 50. A gentle formula with broad spectrum protection but you DO need to use sunscreen-level amounts not typical moisturizer-level amounts to get the listed SPF. Also it's a bit shiny, but I'd rather be shiny than burnt

My GOAT for low-activity days where I probably won't sweat too much I like Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel SPF50. Broad spectrum protection in a gentle moisturizing formula

I'm a pasty, lazy girl with sensitive skin and I have a lot of strong preferences on one-step skincare and sun protection. I don't like a face sunscreen I need to use a moisturizer with or anything that makes my skin sting.
