Revenge is overrated. Find peace in forgiveness and letting go. Then, let God handle it. Love the people around you. All of them.

When you think you have loved people well, strive to love them better. Don’t settle, grow in love.

“We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.”
1 Thessalonians 2:8

Seek to share more than words. It is the relationships you build that often give your words power. Invest in people.

“for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. We don’t need to tell them about it,”
1 Thessalonians 1:8b

Are you living in a way that the legend of your faith is told by other believers around you? That’s the standard. Reach for it!

“Epaphras…He always prays earnestly for you, asking God to make you strong and perfect, fully confident that you are following the whole will of God.”
Colossians 4:12b

Who are you praying for like this today? If you’re not, pick a friend and start now.

“Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.”
Colossians 3:10

Each day you have a choice to allow the Holy Spirit to renew you or to walk in the flesh. Choose Him. Allow him to change you.

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.”
Colossians 2:6

Following Jesus is more than a moment. It’s about continually following. Don’t rest on what you did yesterday. Choose to follow again today.

“So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ.”
Colossians 1:28

Wisdom is of ultimate value. Pray for it. Cherish it. Share it with others.

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
Phil 4:8

Focus controls your mindset. Put in what you want out.

“I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”
Philippians 3:14

Press on. Finish strong. Let these words be an encouragement to you if you feel tired, unmotivated, or on the verge of giving up.

“Do everything without complaining and arguing,”
Philippians 2:14

What if you dropped complaining and arguing from your life completely? What would change? Try it for a day and see how much more you honor God AND how it shifts your attitude.

“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.”
Philippians 2:3

Trying to look a certain way so that others might be impressed is the fastest way to compromise on how you want to live.

“I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding.”
Philippians 1:9

Be full of love. Seek continued growth. This is the way to joy. In every success and failure, there is an opportunity to learn. Take it.

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
Ephesians 6:10

Do you feel weak? Powerless? Facing an uphill climb you can’t finish? Our strength comes from God! Ask him to fill you with the power of his Spirit! Then you will have strength to overcome.

“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!”
Ephesians 5:8

It never ceases to amaze me that God chose to bless us with a relationship with him. That undeserved love drives me to live and love differently.

“Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.”
Ephesians 4:14

Unity and maturity lead us to strength.

“Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.”
Ephesians 3:8

If God has called you and you are obedient, he will accomplish much through you.

“He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.”
Ephesians 2:15

God brings unity, not division. Stand together. Don’t tear someone else down.

“Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.”
Eph 1:21

Never forget the authority of God. No other leader surpasses him. Don’t get your priorities out of order by putting another above him.

“Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.”
Galatians 6:7

What you put in, is what you get out. What you do in secret will be harvested. What are you planting?

“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.”
Galatians 5:13

Be a servant above all else. Then you will be full.

“Have I now become your enemy because I am telling you the truth?”
Galatians 4:16

Speak the truth in love. But love means acting I g in the best interest of another, period. Even if they don’t want the truth, you still must speak it gently. That’s real love. Real leadership.

We don’t just need consistency in our preparation, but in our execution and leadership as well. Where are you leading people?

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”
Galatians 1:10

Your mission is not to IMPRESS people.
It is to IMPACT people for God’s glory.

Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.”
2 Corinthians 13:10-11

Joy, growth, encouraging others, living at peace with others… all take intentionality. You have to choose to step into it.

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

The truth is, we are always weak compared to God. He can do more… so let him.

“You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach...”
2 Cor 11:4

There is only one way. Don’t stand back & listen to false teaching. Step up & teach the truth yourself. Sometimes saying nothing sounds like you agree.
