Zorro is loving the Christmas parcels. #cats.

So, the DOT wants a return to the “golden age” of travel, when people dressed up to take airline flights. I’ll dress up when airlines return to the golden age of wider seats, more legroom, tasty meals & better snacks. If I’m being treated as cattle, I’m going to be comfortable during the experience.

I post too many photos of my rescue kitten, but I’m crazy about him. Other than admiring Zorro, I’m working on my Christmas shopping, getting excited because my daughter and her guy are coming for the holidays and watching Ken Burns’ “American Revolution.”

Former reporter. I don’t see why today’s reporters take his insults. I got chewed out by the mayor of San Antonio in public session. I just smiled while he ranted and then said, “Thanks for sharing.” It got a laugh, which only made him madder. I would have called Trump out with a “Who raised you?”

My rescue baby. They grow up too fast. The kitten stage flies by.

It’s my annual getaway with my girlfriends from the University of South Carolina. The view is spectacular and the friendships are true.

A tenant of mine signed a four year lease. I recently passed by the property and the whole side of the house has been ripped out and he's putting an extension on it. Then I find out he's tapped into my savings account and that's where all the money is coming from.

Megan Kelly is looking rough. It’s like she’s rotting from the inside out. That’s what hate does to you.

Today’s game was “Echoes.” It’s an auditory game. You listen to snippets of a story, then put the related cards in order. We played “The Cocktail,” which is about murder in a speakeasy. Since it’s a cooperative game, Echoes would be great for a dinner party or game night.

We rented a cabin on Lake Pequaywan in Minnesota for a peaceful getaway. We’re gearing up today for an afternoon of board games, because we’re a game-playing family. Anyway, here’s last night’s sunset.

We are in Minnesota, where we rented a lake house for a week. Our dog, Eddie, came with us and was so good on the 20-hour drive. We had to leave kitten Zorro behind, but our friends Sarah and Paul (and their son, James) are looking after him and sending adorable photos like this one.

MSNBC’s firing of @matthewjdowd.bsky.social was another bad decision by a formerly reliable network. MSNBC will never gain right-wing viewers, yet continues to alienate those who want accurate, honest political coverage. By kowtowing to the right, MSNBC will continue to lose credibility & support.
