Iran used negotiations to buy time but they will always want to pursue nuclear weapons behind the scene. Either through their own or through russia. They would have inevitably got it.

And Iraqi didn’t want to be part of the west.

Whereas iranian people are signifying they want to come back to a pre islamic iran with some semblance of democracy and secularism at minimum.
