172 runners enjoyed an absolutely gorgeous morning at today's Downs Park 5 Miler! Spencer Tate (26:38) and Samantha Cole (36:04) were our overall winners. Race director Ross Heisman and his volunteer crew did an outstanding job as always. Results are now up at:

On September 28th, 1985, Striders legend Matthew Mace did not go for a run. The following day, he did. And he ran the next day. And the next. And today, Matt's streak of running at least one mile each day, day in and day out, is reaching FORTY YEARS. Wow. Congratulations, Matt!
