School Bus Safety Week! A reminder for students & drivers to stay safe around school buses. With approximately 1,500 RRVSD students being transported on school buses daily, it is essential to prioritize safety measures so that children can get to school and return home safely.

Starbuck School students, Austin and Ryker, are leading a community drive to collect hockey gear & winter clothing for kids displaced by forest fires.

Raising awareness, one shirt at a time! Today, RRVSD Division Office staff are wearing shirts graciously donated by a student with Rett Syndrome to support Rett Syndrome Awareness Month.

Olivia turned compassion into action with Starbuck School’s “Giving Box” food drive, collecting 444 items in 4 days for the Carman Food Bank. With posters, turkey-shaped bins, and themed days like “Tin Can Tuesday,” she showed that small schools can make a big impact!

Mino-Pimatisiwin is an Indigenous teaching that reminds us to live a good life in balance. It encourages us to live with respect, reciprocity, and connection to ourselves, others, and the natural world. These are the values that continue to guide learning across Manitoba.

Starbuck School staff and students came together with Tipi Joe Lancely to design and raise their very own tipi.

This special ceremony was more than just building a structure, it was a hands-on lesson in Indigenous culture, teamwork, and community.
