Speaking of bombing campaigns, the counter-ISIS air campaign was a very broad coalition. The legal underpinnings kept the whole thing together. Targeting meetings regularly had coalition lawyers. Try putting something like that together after whatever we’re going to do with a CSG in the Caribbean.

There is an entire floor of “The Vince” that does nothing but killing or planning to do some killing 24/7/365, and in the 2015-19 timeframe the pace was relentless. Not sure how any officer in uniform at the time doesn’t get that.

I have to dig up the picture but in the 90s at FTCKY the BN CDR TNARNG Apaches smoked a bunch of HMMWV’s parked at live fire base w/ a hellfire from range 28. Me and my PSG rolled up on it at first light to open a range. The BN CDR pulled the gun camera footage but the evidence was…spectacular
