My partner and I wanted to go and see Fantastic 4, Naked Gun and Freakier Friday (with the kids) at the cinema this month.
But my partner is deaf. And cinemas in the UK only put subtitles on 1% of films.
So we didn't go.
If I was Chancellor & wanted a resurgence in the British economy, instead of technology, a sector that is awash with capital, I'd unleash extraordinary investment in the creative sector, where we have unparalleled strength and which reinforces our identity, with multiplier effects everywhere.
