Can someone explain to me (been a PA on TV shows, 2nd AD on features, AD on commercials, director on indie shoots) why standing on set is so glorified? What the fuck is wrong with sitting down?

So tired of the casual ableism in this industry that’s widely accepted. Why is “standing on set” gospel?
