Watched it again. Really wanted to say my usual spiel - the writing is corny, it's too on-the-nose, there's nothing for the audience to decipher - but I can't. Even with that, it works. It's so Superman. It's a guy who wears his heart so openly on his sleeve that he can't be anything else. Amazing.

Rewatching a few of the Infinity Saga Marvel films, and we gave a lot of crap to Age of Ultron for no reason. It doesn't have as much action or humour, but in terms of character development and heartfelt moments, and considering it's basically the middle point of the saga, it's pretty solid.

Something funny I've noticed is that if you're a nerd, people will assume you're a nerd about ALL of the mainstream nerdy things.

As a combination science-lover and arts kid, who grew up in agriculture and wants to run a business, I have known so many people that praise STEM and business studies as the only valid career paths. I can tell you right now - every career path is necessary for a thriving world.
