Very cool idea to view research studies as opportunities for science communication! A more thoughtful approach to debriefing and other aspects of research might help the public better understand how science works and why it is valuable. #PsychSciSky #AcademicSky #EduSky doi.org/10.1037/xge0...

π§ͺ And House appropriators say: no cuts to NIH budget!
House subcommittee version just came out (link below). Holds NIH flat at $48 billion.
To be clear: this is far from over. But a good sign that science still matters across both sides of aisle.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS!!

Extracellular vesicle heterogeneity through the lens of multiomics
Silva and colleagues refine an EV isolation method to optimize recovery of cancer-derived
large oncosomes (LOs). This approach enables high-yield profiling by mass spectrometry
and bulk/single-LO RNA-...
Excited to share this new work exploring EV heterogeneity! It was amazing to be a part of this international team!

I'm standing by the reflecting pool. The Lincoln memorial is in the background and I'm holding a small sign that says "GTFO ELON." There's a large crowd visible a little ways behind me.
It felt really good to be out with so many others at the #Standupforscience2025 rally in DC today. So much energy in the crowd. Nothing like getting thousands of nerds together!
